Charity does come in all forms. In Somaliland several non profit organisations were the lucky recipients of a generous donation of livestock.Made me smile. Cool huh!
Somaliland's UCID Party donated 70 sheep to the Mental Hospital, the TB Hospital and organizations that take care of orphans and the physically handicapped. The livestock were handed to these organizations and hospitals by the Chairman of UCID, Eng. Faysal Ali Warabe and other UCID officials. Speaking on the occasion, Eng. Faysal Ali Warabe said this is not the first that they give this sort of aid and it will not be the last time. He also made it clear that they are not providing this assistance in order to get votes but they are providing it because of the great need for this assistance.
The heads of the receiving hospitals and organizations expressed their appreciation of UCID's helping hand. Fourty of the livestock went to the mental hospital, 10 went to the TB hospital while the orphans and the handicapped got twenty.
