UN Global Summit ReportThe Leaders Summit provided companies with a platform to demonstrate how they are making a contribution to development and the MDGs. Participants were encouraged to come to the Summit prepared to share a new commitment or announcement. Approximately 25 % of companies at the Summit made a commitment to support UN development objectives. Among these, 50 % cited that the company would engage in partnership with the UN, an NGO or other organization to advance a development project.
